Dementia cafes （ Orange cafes ） are voluntary cafes held throughout the city where people with dementia, their families, local residents, professionals, and anyone else can gather casually so that they can continue to live in their familiar neighborhoods as long as possible even if they have dementia.
Dementia cafes （ Orange cafes ） allow people to make friends, exchange information about dementia, and receive consultations at cafes where professionals are available.
With the aim of making Funabashi "dementia-friendly", the city provides subsidies to organizations that voluntarily run dementia cafes to support their start-up.

◇Subsidy for running a dementia café
1 ． Subsidy
Subsidy within the range of 100,000 yen per organization for activities in FY2024
*Since the subsidy can only be granted once to the same organization, organizations that have applied for the subsidy in the past are not eligible. The same organization will be granted only once.
*The same organization will not be eligible for any other subsidies for dementia cafes in the same fiscal year in which this grant is awarded.

3 ． Application period
(1)Application period ： May 1, 2024 （ Wed ） to Jun 28 （ Fri ）
(2)Application location ： 3F Funabashi City Hall Community Care Promotion Division
(3)How to apply ： Prepare the application documents and bring them in person on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
*Before bringing them, please contact the Community Care Promotion Division in advance and make an appointment.
